As we begin the advent Season, Pastor Jon reminds us about the hope we Have in the truth that not only did Jesus come to Earth as a baby, but that he is also coming again in his full Righteousness.
Today’s message is a special one that marks the beginning of a special time of transition in the life of Damascus Methodist Church. God is so good and His plans are becoming clear for the ways that His ministry will continue through His church here in Damascus.
Today is Youth Sunday, a day that our S.A.L.T. (Souls After Living Truth) Youth Group lead the entire service. What a wonderful testimony and bright hope for the future. God is at work in our youth and His Spirit is evident as He shines through their service today.
It was a Joyous service Thanking the Lord for His Blessings for this years Praise and Thanksgiving for us ALL.
Celebrate Veteran’s Day as we honor those that have served and sacrificed for our freedom. Let us never forget their service.
Today we celebrate “All Saints Sunday” as we celebrate the lives remember witness of the saints that have gone before us to glory in Heaven and reflect on the example they have set. All who accept Jesus Forgiveness and follow Him are called saints as they are made perfect through Jesus Christ.
